Arsenal Mantap

Hello there. It has been a little slow on updates in here. Got busy with work. Hope I will still have time to spare on here though. Enough of me, let's talk about Arsenal !

Last evening we have stopped our so called not champion's form at home. Although we did work hard to get the predicted easy win. Well, it was a worthy win since it sees us topping the table due to the former champion draw at their own turf. It makes me think that being play at home doesn't guarantee three points anymore.

It's another terrific display from Samir which takes us to number one. He scored all of the goals in this match. He became one of our best this season. When things grow tough, he is the one to call upon. Last night, he even scored the goals beautifully. Some has even picked the second one as potential goal of the season.

Except Samir, Arshavin also seems to recover his top form. He has been influential in our last two league matches. The same goes to Clichy who seems to up his game on recent matches. And also Djourou who looks very solid yesterday. I thought Arsene's faith on him isn't baseless afterall. Djourou has made himself higher than Koscielny in the eye of some fans.

Unfortunately, there's one player who performed not so good last night. It's Song. As i stated before, he's not meant to be played in offensive play. Well, he did score a few important goals. I thought he tried so hard to become the hero nowadays. It is better for him to mind the defense first in my opinion.

We are on top of the table now. This week has surely changed our team morale. We also secured a place in league cup quarter final which leave Ipswich, West Ham, and Birmingham. With due respect, it is a surprising yet comforting situation. WBA, ManU and Villa which I thought to be favourite to win, has lost to their respective opponent. I think the luck is ours to be converted into glory. We even drew Ipswich which is the only remaining non-top-flight team. The chance is wide open. The tie will be played away first and then at emirates two weeks later. I thought it is the manager to blame were we not taking the cup home.

Now, it's time to focus on the European League. We have to secured the three points to walk through the group phase. Well, we still can qualify with a draw were Braga failed to defeat Shakhtar. However, we can't afford to depend on others' result, right? Plus that we have been put into 'easy' group. Partizan at home is not that hard. We will win this.
