Almunia is reported to be back in full training next week. Almunia long spell has given Fabianski the chance to prove himself. Looking at Fabianski's recent form, we would expect the Pole to keep the number one spot and place Almunia second in the pecking order. Been asked about the issue, Arsene told the media that no one is guaranteed to start. The manager stated that choice of starting stopper will be based on the performance in training. Regarding Almunia's chance, Wenger told the media that the Spanish must come back and prove his quality in training. Base on that statement, I conclude that Fabianski will be starting again with Almunia warming the bench.

There was also issue floating around claiming that Almunia will be sold next season. I reckon the issue came up in respond on Szczesny recent new deal. Arsene quickly played down the issue by saying Almunia has future with us. The manager also added that no one will be sold by illustrating the condition of a moving train which no one is allowed to get down. Well, I think the sale of Almunia will eventually happen since Wojciech has already demanded more playing time. In addition, Arsene also regarded Wojciech as a very important part of the club future. Arsene also said that the Pole stopper has the quality and challenging Szczesny to show it. Who do you think is better, then? As for me, it is Sczcesny. However, I think Almunia will be the second choice since he has more experience. As long as Wenger doesn't start Almunia ahead of Fabianski, I will be satisfied.

Move on to internationals, Arsene is reported trying to talk to Netherlands regarding Van Persie call-up. I guess having lost the striker often enough from the international matches has made Arsene took the hard way to hold the Dutch striker. Apart from senior call-up, our youngster, Lansbury, has been called-up to play for U-21. I guess his recent fine form has been paid off.

Next, we will move on to Daily Mail. The Daily Mail has claimed us as a dirty team having been at the bottom of the fair play table. I guess it makes sense of being the bottom since we got a fair share of red cards this season. However, claiming us dirty is a bit too far. There are lot of other teams that played dirtier. De Jong , anyone? Or Barton who has displayed his magnificent short-range-quick-draw fist of fury, which might be learnt during his holiday in China. The difference between ours and theirs is we got punished by the foul while they got away with it.

I will leave you with refreshing comments from Eboue. Our joker of the team promised us something special if Arsenal wins trophy this season. Eboue promised that it will be very special for the fans, since he believed it will be something the fans have never seen in life. Interesting, eh?

Till then, Arsenal Mantap.
