I will keep it brief since I am going to shut myself down. :)
We were linked with Enei Jelenic. A 17-year-old forward who currently play for his homeland club, Luka Koper. The Slovenian will cost around 600.000 euros. There isn't any confirmation for our interest. However, this news interests me since the youngster has been likened to Fernando Torres. I guess we don't mind having the next Torres at our club, no ?
Other youngster who was linked with us was Sime Vrsaljko. The 18-year-old Croatian played for Dinamo Zagreb. Unlike the former link, the club vice president, Zdravko Mamic, has confirmed our interest along with other big clubs from Europe. The youngster is likened to Luca Modric.
On Cahill transfer link, Arsene reported not denying the link. The transfer seems more likely after Bolton announced his debt recently. Bolton's president also admitted that the club will sell some of key players to reduce the debt. In addition, Arsenal would probably need to reinforce their defensive department since Thomas Vermaelen prolong his spell due to achilles problem. That will leave Djourou, Koscielny, and Squillaci as remaining first choice defenders. Thus, Arsene is expected to aware and make us of the circumstances to sign Cahill.
Move on to Benik Afobe who was recently loaned to Huddersfield Town. The youngster has netted twice in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Rotherham. Seeing a positive contribution to the team, Huddersfield decides to extend the loan deal. The current deal will end on January. Huddersfield are currently said to be feeding Arsenal with the videos and reports of Afobe's progress to smooth the deal.
On another story, Arsenal's legend, Ian Wright, advised his son Shaun Wright-Phillips to leave Manchester City. He was told to look for first team opportunity in other club to maintain his chance of playing for England.
Guess that's for today.
Till then, Arsenal Mantap.
